Treatment options for Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis or MS as it is better known is a disease in which the body immune system acts on the covering of the nerves and therefore disrupts the signal transmission through these nerves. These would mean that the nerves would not be able to function and thus certain manifestations as in a situation of paralysis would be taking place. It is a disease which usually manifests between the ages of 20 – 40 and the symptoms may come and go during its progression. Although it is slowly progressing, how it progresses and its manifestations could vary from one person to another as well as on what approaches do we take in tackling this condition.
